Some games…

Couple of years Cig will have a team full of beasts too, without thin spots. Right now he has a lot of beasts and less depth, but they play well anyway.

Our QB had an off day. But he's way more talented than anybody they have. So we aren't behind them on talent. Athletes maybe, not talent.

Hell yeah, nice win.

Michigan isn’t less talented. The defense decided to play to their talent level in the 2nd half.
Just a glance at their last 3-4 recruiting classes shows nothing but 4 star and 3 star players. I don’t know how many transferred in or out, but jeez. I don’t recall any IU classes looking like that. I’m not saying we don’t have some truly gifted players, but we also have a goddamn good coach.

I wss glancing at the listing of scores on CBS Sports Network On the IU game right next to it was a mention that the game was played in Kansas City, Mo. That makes our turnout even more impressive!

UM is definitely a talented team, but their coach is in over his head. He looks lost. Hell, he pulled a Tom Allen-esque game management waiting 28 seconds to use a time out there on our last possession. Even the commentators were like, “Have they conceded???” I think he thought he was just going to win games because they are Michigan.

Nah, we didn’t cover the spread. They’ll drop us 7 spots cuz we’re IU and not supposed to be ranked that high anyway.
Our rankings won’t drop … too many other big losses this week … FPI took a small hit … Defense did what was needed and stopped MI in the 2nd half. There were no long MI rushes for TDs. The 3rd Q int and shank on a punt hurt a lot.

It’ll be close. It’s not like their two losses are to WASH and UCLA, and they do have two better wins in TEX and CLEM (and neither of those were at home).

Yeah, UGA would probably have an edge here. MIA would not.
Hmmm—then again a bunch of ESPN scribes are projecting MIA keeping its ACC lead (instead of SMU taking the autobid), while many of them are also dumping UGA out of the top-12.

This will be interesting.

Most 2025 NFL mock drafts have them with no less than 3 first round picks and a couple of more 2nd rounders.

A couple Sarratt drops kept this from being a 2 score win. And then there was the supposed pass interference and that hit that knocked Price out. I think Ponds got ejected in the UCLA game for targeting on a nearly similar play.
