If you go back and watch that press conference, the guy right before him was a Homeland Security guy talking about how surface disinfectants and UV light outside significantly killed virus on surfaces.
Then President Trump came up and immediately went into the bit about how they’re looking into injecting disinfectant into the lungs to clean them because COVID “does a number on the lungs.” Or insert a very powerful light.
There is literally nothing to suggest he was joking there.
