played with Romeo at New Albany was junior college player of the year, been offered by Kentucky anyone know if IU is looking at recruiting him.

The way the fans treated Romeo, I doubt he would come to IU.

That’s what he was supposed to do. Just like kopp and Stewert. Romeo averaged 15-16 points with a bum hand. You guys act like these kids don’t know how to operate in their system. Newsflash….
His ppg average was impressive as a freshman. But if he stands in the corner it means he is not setting up his teammates for shots. If the defense has to react to him then they are leaving their man and it helps the whole team on the offensive end. I have nothing personally against Romeo.

I mean…ok. It’s funny to me people think they aren’t were they are supposed to be. When you see them standing opposite they are supposed to stand there to stretch the floor. This isn’t Bob Knight era run through multiple screens offense. He’s the guy the bigs pass out too. They are shooter options.

this is the first rule. You set up opposite of the post. You slide to the corner to make your man choose. Keeps the lane open. This is what Kopps and Romeo’s job was. 🤦🏻

1. The opposite perimeter player slides down to the weakside corner for a possible pass from the dribbler.
Please stop with all the standing around nonsense.

Maybe what we are saying is this is not the right way to play basketball. I guess if it works there is no problem. But in his one year at IU it didn't work.

It’s not like he’s the only one playing that system. It works. Just give it time. He’s not going to switch systems just personnel. He’s showing recruits what system he’s using. Archie used a system with the personnel he had. Big mistake. He couldn’t get a stretch 4 because of it. Let the man coach. He will get us shooters and 4/5 out types.
