SCt orders admin to facilitate return of wrongly deported Maryland man

They arrested him because they claimed he is one of the gang members. He wasn't, and the US government said it was a mistake. He lived in the US lawfully with a legal work permit and his wife is a US citizen and pregnant. There is not one court paper filed that said he wasn't lawfully in the US. This is what the Court stated: "To this day, the Government has cited no basis in law for Abrego Garcia’s warrantless arrest, his removal to El Salvador, or his confinement in a Salvadoran prison. Nor could it."

Isn't MS-13 a Mexican gang?
I may be somewhat off color, but I feel like any gang that has number attached to it is likely a mexican gang. Also, I have no basis in fact or otherwise to make such a statement or even have that feeling

Yes. Why aren’t you more versed in gang history, life and culture?
Well I am. You ever hear about the Rochester Hills Michigan gang that roamed the well paved roads there? They called themselves the Brew Crew. Patrolling the streets for alcohol and chicks. Sunglasses permanently attached and polo shirts with the collars alllll the way up. Bad ass guys. Hell, one guy even got detention for being late to class.

Those are my guys. Tough as nails sorta bad boys

I'd love to see an example of the Dems openly defying a court order.
I can't think of one.

But FDR famously threatened to essentially nullify the Supreme Court by way of adding seats if they overturned any more of his New Deal programs. It worked too, because Owen Roberts flipped on West Coast Hotel Co shortly after the threat was made.

To be clear, I am not saying deporting citizens is the goal. But in a move fast, break stuff environment, that's where this leads.

Sounds like it is the goal.

Whatever the history of the gang, this guy is not in it. He was accused of being in it by ICE, and nobody has produced any evidence for it.

The total lack of evidence has even led the administration to admit that he was wrongly detained and wrongly deported.

He is a married man with kids who has worked here for >10 years in the construction business, most recently as a sheet metal fabricator. He fled to the USA as a 15 year old, seeking asylum, since a gang threatened to kill him and his family unless they turned over a profitable family food preparation business.

He was granted a work visa in 2019 after an immigration officer determined that returning him to his native country would indeed endanger his life, and he was no threat to the USA, he had no criminal record here WHATSOEVER, and was a gainfully employed taxpayer.

Now he's illegally detained and Trump is gleeful about it.

It usually takes military force to get somebody out of a concentration camp.
