Spoke with Rivals Midwest Recruiting Analyst Josh Helmholdt tonight about IU's 13th and latest commit, 3* OT Caleb Jones of Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis. Here's a transcript of our conversation with Helmholdt's insight:

Highlights:
  • Despite his big size, Jones still needs to develop an edge/nastiness to match his enormous frame
  • Jones could play inside (at one of the guard positions), depending on what he ends up playing at IU. Helmholdt said Jones would be a better fit at the right tackle spot if he continues to play the position at IU. His footwork isn't quite there yet to play the left tackle position.
  • Most important thing for Jones to work on is his bending his knees and waist, according to Helmholdt. Taller linemen like Jones have to be more mindful of those aspects of their game in order to have a lower center of gravity.
