A BG player hits a three in front of BG's bench and is fouled. Next thing you know, there is a lot of pushing and shoving and both teams are in a mob with coaches and refs jumping in to break things up. I'm guessing it was inadvertent, but one of the refs got a bloody nose.
After about 15 minutes of reviewing monitors and talking to the coaches, it's determined that three OU players were assessed with technical fouls and a BG player was given one.
OU didn't shoot free throws, so I'm guessing that BG's tech offset one of OUs. BG made the and one, made four free throws and then scored when they got possession. When all that started it was a close game - 71-66. The next time OU was on offense, it was 81-66 and pretty much the ball game.
Given that OU was up 14 in the first half and let BG close out that half with a 10-1 run...it wasn't OU's finest game.
