Hell of a play at th3 endWhat could have been......
YepWhat could have been......
I was pretty critical of Sampson’s coaching tonight. They looked sloppy but that designed inbounds play was brilliant.Hell of a play at th3 end
Eh, little bit of a mixed bag. The inbounds play for the win was obviously brilliantly executed, but the last 5+ minutes, where they let PU get back into a game they were completely out of, was some of the most braindead offensive play I've seen...aside from the vast majority of Woodson's four years, of course.his players have great instincts, have been taught well, and execute
They got a home game as a 4 seed, which makes no sense.that was an ugly game. Sampson has no offense once they get into the half court. They play hard though on d and rebounding.
PU of course is blaming the refs

“Tuggler” sounds like something you have to pay a little extra for.His teams are almost identical every year. Tuggler will be a stud next to Cenac next year.
coming from an official... hahaEveryone blames the officials.
It's dumb. A cop out. Folks who blame officials, can't handle losing.
Meh..We fuked shit up. Miss plays, etc. It happens. Some nights, you're just not good.coming from an official... haha
In all seriousness, you're correct.
I will blame Teddy Valentine.Everyone blames the officials.

60 pts isn't getting it done.I don't care how good of defense your playing..Eh, little bit of a mixed bag. I mean, just terrible. There were at least five straight possessions where they just dribbled aimlessly around the perimeter until there were five seconds left on the shot clock, and then just jacked up a shot. If they ran any semblance of an offense, this would've been a blowout. Put it this way, while the Vols aren't quite the defensive juggernaut that UH is, they most certainly can score while also locking you down. Had this been UT-PU, it would've been over at halftime. Thankfully, we didn't have to wait until the Elite 8 to see that. The good news: there should be a lot of seats available for Sunday, if anyone would like to see a great game live.
It was, but maybe you should guard the inbounder under your own basket?Hell of a play at th3 end
Only if you pair him on the frontline with that stud 4 star: Ruband!“Tuggler” sounds like something you have to pay a little extra for.
I hope so. Now this might be mean to young men who did me no harm. But their coach has it coming.Houston has no chance v the big boys. hell TENN will beat them.
All SEC Final 4 still possible.Houston has no chance v the big boys. hell TENN will beat them.
All SEC Final 4 still possible.
I'll give Painter credit-he never blames the refs for a loss-unlike his mentor Gene "ITS a FOUL" Keady.that was an ugly game. Sampson has no offense once they get into the half court. They play hard though on d and rebounding.
PU of course is blaming the refs
Hard to believe, isn't it? The BIG has had plenty of chances since 2000-8 times the runner up I think? Of course, none of those 8 were even close games except Wisconsin collapsing against Duke in 2015.The BT needs to get its act together. It looks like we're heading in the right direction as a conference, but we don't do shit in the tourney anymore. PU last year being the exception.
No champ since Mateen Cleaves?
But we were 8-0 in the 1st round! we cheer. 0-25 since the turn of the century in NCAAs....
Easy to say. Play brought defense to the pass. Guy throwing it in, is forgotten a lot.It was, but maybe you should guard the inbounder under your own basket?
Lost to Bama and Auburn by 5.Houston has no chance v the big boys. hell TENN will beat them.

I like an athletic big on the inbounder. I'd rather disrupt the pass and play before it has a chance to develop and hurt me. Inbounder seemed like a big; I'd not have had Smith guarding him anyway. Maybe TKR, Heide or Colvin. Either of the freshmen too, they seem to have good defensive instincts and are a little longer.Easy to say. Play brought defense to the pass. Guy throwing it in, is forgotten a lot.
The play design was beautiful
Why do you care? You only care about IU, why read or respond to this post? Why so butthurt about disparaging posts about PU? Get lost gramps…What is the reasoning of this post title
“Sampson owns Painter” ?
2 point game
Painter has only beat him once in 4 games. What is the reasoning of this post title

I’ll admit that was a bad non call call on the Houston push off at the endthat was an ugly game. Sampson has no offense once they get into the half court. They play hard though on d and rebounding.
PU of course is blaming the refs
Until his last breath on earthI will blame Teddy Valentine.
I was referring to their fanbase, who don't deserve Painter. Painter did a great job too with the talent he has - made Kevin's halfcourt offense look totally disorganizedI'll give Painter credit-he never blames the refs for a loss-unlike his mentor Gene "ITS a FOUL" Keady.
Was proud of our boys. Thought we had lost our legs down 10 with 10:00 to go; a lot of character and grit. Had a chance....
Thought it was a great college basketball game with respect and sportsmanship on both sides. Felt like players respected each other on both ends. Certainly one of the best games of the tournament.
Triggered a little bit??? Purdue did show up yesterday. I would think you wouldn't be so bitter.Purdue was not a championship caliber team this year. There's no shame in taking a #1 seed twelve rounds and losing by decision - somewhat literally.
I'll take that banner along with our character and program; and the silent satisfaction knowing we are a nationally respected program and that Indiana basketball has gone from agony to outright desperation.
But behind your keyboard...you know all this.
Now carry on with your not-so-witty posts. None of them will change the truth. But I know it makes you feel better and mental health is important.
