Rumors of the flu going around the team

Yeah I hear you but we needed to uptick a bit from CC and JG does a nice job on the mic along with 200 other things in Btown.
Yep could certainly be worse. Chuck was the beloved "voice" of AH but was very dry especially in the current day.

I hope one of the others was Gunn because his play in the first half rewatching the game was like he had a couple dimes on the Auburn cover. It was, put a walk on in the game, bad.

Reneau had zero energy on D and blocking out rebounding which led to the two huge put back dunks by Auburn. He also spent a lot of time standing straight up and walking around on D.

Why has Reneau assumed the assigned Race role of being the donkey that always has to take the ball out after a made bucket?

Seems dumb as hell to me.

Ware seemed to be on a high dose of NyQuil. Twice he ran down court after a made free throw when there was another free throw coming....very strange.

While I'm pointing shit out that grinds my gears, Pearl standing on the three point line near his bench directing his defense for 10-15 secs while IU was on offense on that side of the court was a move that should have garnered a sideline warning or a T.
IIRC the questionable list was: Johnson, Ware, Reneau, Walker, Gunn ..

A friend of mine said he had cold symptoms and lost taste and smell but took several covid tests during that time and all were negative.
Then there are always the folks who had no symptoms, yet tested positive for having/had it. According to my father-in-law who I never question, hospitals still get kick-backs for number of covid cases reported. Maybe the uptick in cases being reported isn't just an Indy area thing, but nationally, too. Hasn't Fall/Winter always been the flu season? I wonder what the current statistics are for regular flu virus cases vs covid virus. The news media doesn't glorify the report like they once did. Now, it's just Trump and the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, formerly Russia/Ukraine.

You basically have no immunity. I got my sixth shot in mid October.
My wife and I only received the first of two required Pfizer shots. Neither of us has had the slightest sniffle since. Maybe someday the government will take the time to analyze the data and find out one jab was really all you needed...all those one-jabbers did just fine.

X was questionable ?

Games are probably played with these injury reports, but if he had a reasonable chance of playing vs Auburn perhaps he has a legit chance versus Rock Chalk or whatever they are called.

I believe so, either that or a game time decision. He wasn't in uniform that I remember ..

We could sure use him versus KU. I expect the crowd to be a big factor, and am hoping for a defensive showing like we had versus UNC. w/out x , that’s tougher.

Probably listed that way until they decide whether he's done for the season.

Would you believe a report like that from the government?

I will consider the vax when the Pharmas no longer have civil immunity for damage their products may cause.
Not me. Vaccines are very carefully tracked for safety (see below(. Immunity is to ensure development

That is your prerogative.

Hopefully your decision doesn’t bite you in the butt.

I didn't get Covid until Jan 2023 for the first time and I've had all of the vaccines and boosters until this very last one. And as I said in this forum that I got my second round of Covid just recently.

I don't know if just one jab will keep it at bay, but maybe it will for you. I traveled a lot for work too during 2021. In fact, I was traveling some during the Spring and Summer of 2020 and didn't catch it then either. Plane trips to Seattle and Minnesota and hotel stays and didn't catch even a cold. Very weird.

Yes, very weird…this whole virus phenomenon, it lacks sense…no rhyme nor reason.

I've had all the vaccines and boosters every year, because my kids are auto-immune deficient, and my wife is a doctor who brought it home every day. Luckily, I've yet to have a symptom. It certainly hasn't proven to be full proof by any stretch of the imagination but in this one-man clinical study, it's been a raging success. Except for this 3rd arm.... ha

Back in May the CDC dramatically scaled back a lot of the COVID reporting requirements hospitals had dating back to 2020. So I don't think the news will have much to report unless a deadlier variant were to arise to fill up hospitals and honestly, the more contagious the variants get, the less severe they are. Mainly because if its deadly, it knocks you out fast and you don't go out into public spreading it because you're on your death bed at home. Thereby, people naturally isolate themselves from public. Hence Ebola and other feared pandemics of the past being easy to corner. The original iteration of COVID had a perfect storm.......some may even say.....a man-made perfect storm!
