Rumor has it that

..no Politico 'journalists ' will be paid this week.

Also, CNN and MSNBC management have been alerted to significant layoffs in the near future.

Did Pfizer run out of money?
I'm sure it has nothing to do with the cutoff of money for USAID.

The cockroaches are scrambling.

You're hilarious. It would be nice if you had the capability to check the accuracy of your (mis)information. Your sources have an especially abysmal track record for accuracy.

The Politico thing is a conspiracy theory from 9 days ago and was debunked the same day. Politico met payroll. They had a system glitch which delayed pay 3 or 4 hours. They are having no financial problems. They're cranking out articles at same pace as always.

CNN, MSNBC and NBC announced some layoffs in January. You're way late on that - and there's nothing new and surprising about it. Other media companies are also laying off some people as they shift more to digital services.

Why are we so good at picking scabs? It would be naive of me to ever think we can find common ground and solve some real world problems.

Why do you guys just parrot what you read without looking into if for yourselves. This was debunked and found extremely misleading about 5 seconds after it was posted. *Sigh*
Extremely misleading?

A Reuters media group getting paid to "provide software and information services to U.S. government agencies across successive administrations for decades, to assist in identifying and preventing fraud, supporting public safety, and advancing justice,”

So...why does the US government have to pay a news agency to do this, Einstein?

Thomas Reuters isn't a news agency, for starters. They have a news division but it's a lot bigger company than just that.

You first. All you have is a tweet. I have one too.

* first awarded under Trump

Who cares? Gov't paying off a division of Reuters is bullshit.

* paid to Reuters' data division, not the newsroom

😄 So kinda like not directly to paid to "the big guy"

* for researching *defenses* against deception

😄 Ah yes..."fact-checking" anti-government narratives

* not revealed by "DOGE investigations"; was a public record, visible online for many years.

Never heard of it before. Thanks DOGE. It was bullshit then, it's bullshit now.

"Independent journalism". 😄

It has to be exhausting to believe every contract and expenditure in government is for nefarious reasons.

Could be bullshit. But not for the reason Musk tweeted and you parroted.
