You are right....one really tough dude.
Very impressive. He could have mentioned it, but he never used it as an excuse. Same thing with his thumb. Great attitude. I hope the NFL works out for him.
Makes me like, respect and admire him even more. With an injury like that it takes a strong minded individual to overcome that and the thumb playing the game of B1G time CFB. NFL here he comes!
Wow...that's incredible! Explains his struggles with handling pressure...can't imagine trying to burst or push off, even to step up in the pocket, let alone full on scramble. And then it makes his successes remarkable. One of the more important things in a QB's mechanics, from listening to analysts, is their feet and their "base". How he played, with a damaged ACL that had to be impacting his feet and base, is amazing.
The dude is an absolute dog. Ton of respect for how tough he is.
They said something about him tweaking it preseason or early, but said he was OK. Guess 'ok' is a very relative term.

His mobility declined a lot at the end of the year and had a limp at times is what I noticed.
Dude is a warrior. I wish him nothing but the best for him and his family. I really enjoyed my football fall this year, in large part, because of him.
Kurtis is an extraordinary warrior with a determination and pain tolerance that few could comprehend. Holy shit. Epic.

I’m guessing he didn’t want to tell anyone about it because he knew they’d shelve him just like Ohio did. Makes an already incredible season even more heroic. That’s one tough hombre.
There are multiple degrees of ACL injuries … for Rourke the post surgery rehab time was perhaps too long to participate in spring practice. He seemed to manage well enough with a brace.
I don’t think Rourke needed to worry about being shelved. But the beatings he took v. Mich and OSU clearly didn’t help.

This might in some weird way work out well for him in that the really garbage NFL teams who feel they need help immediately at QB will probably pass on him (supposedly he's looking at 10+ months of rehab)..., while one of the decent teams with an aging QB might draft him in the 2nd or 3rd round with the thought that he'd become their starter in year three...

Tell us a torn up Roarke is better than a healthy Jackson. At least in Tino and Cigs eyes I’d assume.
