Good for Rourke as he deserves recognition in this game.
9-9 on 3rd down led to 8 conversions … an irresistible force.
I really like Rourke but one thing I have seen in the spring game and again on Saturday it seems he throws into coverage a lot. So far he is getting away with it. Hopefully he continues to get by with it or he does not continue to do it.
He had one that should have been picked, dropped, at UCLA. But I don't think he throws to the wrong guy or into coverage overly much. I'm glad we have a guy now who can try those throws, because he knows how to keep it away from the defender. He has had a couple that I hope were off target though, as they were on the defender side. But I don't think very many.
My concern after UCLA is hoping we don't need our QB to be lights out like that to win! He had an amazing game.

He got lucky on at least one of his passes.
He does that against a good team and it's an INT. As I 've said before, we haven't played anyone good yet, but we've taken care of business. Just need to refine some things.
