Rourke drafted by 49ers

Four spots before Quinn Ewers was drafted by Miami as the 13th and final QB.

Wow, what a fall for Ewers! After supposedly passing up REAL big money to transfer but opted to go pro. Since it was a weak draft for QBs probably, lol.

Good spot for Rourke. Hope he makes the roster.
,
That shot of everyone standing there with Ewers while he just looks pissed and super sad all at once while fiddling with the hat was not something the Dolphins and their fans wanted to see.

Miami's QB doesn't stay healthy. Ewers should be happy he went there compared to many teams. He only has to beat out Zach Wilson.

I agree, but strictly from a risk vs reward standpoint there isn't much to lose getting him in the middle of the 4th round.
Ya but, they already have a position battle , with one of them being a guy they reallllllllllllly hope ends up being the guy. I think they are trying to lock down the 3rd guy (who, with expected injuries, will be 2nd string on a couple Sundays). They don’t have time or resources for a Sanders flyer.

I’d add… if this was a year later, and we’ve moved on from Richardson and we have another bandaid in Jones, hell ya take a flyer on Sanders

He's a Football Mini-Me... A clone of daddy without the NFL level talent... All the negatives and none of the positives... All the mouth and look at me crap with zero real leadership...

His most impressive talent was finding the third receiver deep on extended broken plays and that usually was as much on the receiver finding a way to get open as it was on him...

I have a feeling that someone is going to purposely wax that kid in practice....

Sanders would be better than anyone the Colts have. But, noooo...

Leonard could be good, if he could throw consistently accurately. But, then again that's not stopping the Colts from playing Richardson. So, good pick.
I like Leonard. Not spectacular but makes plays. Personally I haven't given up on Richardson yet.

One of the people on ESPN was dogging Ewers pretty hard just as he was being drafted. So, he heard that guy telling him how he sucked just as he has to get on TV as his name was announced. This whole weekend was gut punch for the kid.

Thanks. I had the sound turned down and wasn't listening to the commentary.

You're the only one... Seems like a nice guy but the dude is no NFL QB... Why they thought they could turn a 50+ percent college passer into a 70% NFL thrower was beyond stupid...

I'm glad they didn't get Rourke, Those clowns (the Colts) would have had him out of the League in under 2 years...

But a guy like Rourke is who they need under center. All those starts vs. something like 14 or whatever number Richardson had in college.

Oh I agree..., but the way the Colts run things they would have found a way to screw things up for him...

I live in Center Grove (suburb near Indianapolis) so I'd prefer to root for them but I find it just too hard to watch them find new and varied ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory...

I like their 1st Pk but unless they find someone to throw him the ball it will be for naught...

I became a fan when moved here. Those were some lean years, Tobin, Infante, Dowhower, Meyer, etc... then they got it together with Polian and drafted Manning. Then they got Luck and it looked like another run. Then Pagano and Grigson showed that without Polian to keep Irsay out of the football stuff, they were gonna suck. I gave up and don't go to games anymore, barely watch them. I don't need that in my life. I already have IU hoops and the Reds filling the entire calendar year.

I've pretty well narrowed things down to just INDIANA Football (lifelong fan) and IU basketball (my interest in them waned dramatically the last couple of years)...

Hopefully Cignetti and staff will deliver a great run for my semi-twilight years...(myself and the rest of the plus 70 crowd are kinda due)

Just win, baby.

you lose a 4th round draft pick. Those are not throw away draft picks. If it was not for the Browns, the worst front office in football, he would not have been drafted. Because he is dog shit.
