I had my teeth whitened up in Bangkok. While the dentist was working on my teeth, I was getting my feet and legs massaged. The prices were like 1/3 of what it was here in SG.
That was my closest.
I guess it's better than them giving you a pair of goggles and then watching TV up in the ceiling.
Not a dentist, or even a hot hygenist, but when I was about 12-14 the hair stylist I went to had huge knockers and I swear, she enjoyed knowing how much I enjoyed them and getting this young teen all kinds of worked up. I never cared much about my hair styles before that, but once I sat down with her and she pulled my head into those lovely soft pillows of goodness, I became very particular about my haircuts and felt I needed one almost monthly. Funny, but as soon as she moved on, I lost interest in my hair styles ever since and now I only get them when my neck gets furry.

Why not? After all that pain, I am sure she will have lots of empathy towards her patients as they get a root canal done.
I bet as @largemouth is getting his mouth drilled upon and feeling the pain, I would suggest to him to check whether his dentist doesn't have any tatts on his/her feet.
