Oh, yes, I'm old enough to have watched Steve Downing play ... and in freshman ineligible era to get my butt kicked by him in the old Hyper Bldg. Humbling.

When did you attend games? I saw Downing and McGinnis play in the new fieldhouse.( 1970 or 71 ?) I also played pickup games in the old HPER bldg.-- glad I never went up against Big Steve!

The dirt running track around the courts where the dust would make the courts SLICK!! Kind of like a skating rink!
