"For two years, I've been saying that Ukraine has zero chance of winning the US proxy war against Russia. The MSM has dutifully propagandized the American public into believing Zelensky was winning and anamethnatizing those of us who challenged the narrative.
Now the MSM is admitting the war is lost. If they had been truthful from the outset, the reality would have steered Ukraine toward the peaceful generous settlement that Russia repeatedly vouchsafed, and 600,000 Ukrainian kids might have grown white hair".

No link again. What generous peaceful settlement was offered? There was none. Your support for Russia and spreading Russia generated misinformation and your anti-Ukraine bias are well known here.

Google "Who is winning the war in Ukraine" to get a s sense of what the so-called MSM is currently reporting about the Ukraine war.

In doing this I don't think most people would believe Now the MSM is admitting the war is lost as Massasuta states.

As part of my search, I discovered this article which in part states the following...

Russia, meanwhile, has struggled with huge troop and equipment losses, relying on military trade and aid from partners such as China, Iran, and North Korea in order to sustain an invasion that, from Moscow's original plans, should have been over in weeks.

President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine has said he not only wants to definitively repel Russia's invasion, he also wants to recapture territories lost to Russian President Vladimir Putin since 2014, including Crimea and the Donbass.

Mas gets his "news" straight from Russian misinformation websites. I believe this is why he almost never links anything to back up the misinformation he's spreading. Some of these sites are listed in the article I linked about busting Russian misinformation. It also lists some of the misinformation that has gone viral on social media. Mas linked some of that misinformation here.

That quote came from RFKjr on Twitter. He also spreads Russian propaganda. He's a nut.

We are all "nuts" in the eyes of someone.

The price we pay for freedom is having to tolerate the free speech of those with which we disagree.

By the way, the notion we have a mainstream media which walks in lockstep as exists in Russia is something about which I disagree.

His entire premise is a lie. It is built in either 1) Ukraine was about to attack Russia. That is about as likely as Mexico attacking the US, with the same likelihood of success.

Or 2) NATO was going to attack through Ukraine. For that, he can go to his Russian sources and document every single case of NATO bombs falling on nuclear powered nations. I am sure he has a great list he can share.

The US will not attack a nuclear powered nation, it is why Iran desperately wants the bomb (and a country we still haven't attacked, not even after the hostage crisis). It is why we do nothing about North Korea. It is why we turned a blind eye to Pakistani support of OBL.

So for some reason, he fully supports a Russian war machine. If you are as smart as you were telling Aloha you are, you would see that other countries can have war machines too.

The US used the same justification in Bay of Pigs, Cuba was a prelude to a Russian attack. We were wrong to do that, and we pulled our support. Unfortunately we should have stopped the Cubans landing and did not.

Cuba and Ukraine are very similar analogies. Cuba presented as much risk to the US as Ukraine to Russia.

Ukraine in no way changes the fact that Russia dwarfs our nuclear total. We won't risk that. Hell, we didn't risk it when we had the advantage. We did not bomb China in the Korean War when they had zero nukes, and you know Mac was begging for them.

Ukraine poses no risk to Russia. Except one. Tied to the West, her economy might greatly improve . Her people may become happier than the Russian people. It might force Russia to open up. That scares people who prefer totalitarianism.

Protectionists. Reducing military spending. Debt. Aren’t all misguided. They all don’t see the world through your board games. If you’re as smart as you claim despite your lack of formal education you’ll see that. There’s a reason the cheneys of the political world won’t likely ever win another election. They haven’t in what will be over 30 years. Rfk Jr I trust is hardly a neophyte on these matters. He’s a Kennedy.

RFKjr believes nutty things. He's the guy that most pushed the ridiculous conspiracy theory that GWB won 2004 due to voter fraud in 2004 (now he's embraced by MAGA Republicans). He's anti-vaxx and has no chance to be confirmed for a health-related Cabinet job because there aren't enough MAGA Republicans in the Senate to confirm him. He's been spreading Russian misinformation for years.

He’s not anti vax. I’ve got a buddy who has worked on multiple cases with him. Loves him. He isn’t a proponent of the war machine and the endless wars. What’s more he takes a critical look at ag, food processing, drugs. Etc. Let’s get some new eyes on things. The old ways are leading us to incredible debt, etc. this is our current gov.

It's well known that he's anti-vax. He only recently has claimed otherwise because he wanted to be taken seriously on the national stage, but he's on the record as anti-vax. He'll not get a cabinet secretary position. There may be a political appointee position which doesn't require confirmation that Trump could offer - or he can work on the WH staff doing something.

Trump was horrible on debt the first time around. I don't see that changing.

he’s a guy that is critical of big pharma etc. he’s litigated against them. Seen how they operate and is skeptical. He also understands their import and has repeatedly said he’s not anti vax or that they should be reviewed on a case by case basis. Good

And I’m smart enough to not rule out alternatives bc this is the way we have always done things. Jr thinks it will end in a negotiated settlement that’ll look a lot like what could have been brokered without so much loss, human and financial.

Hard to justify funding a war machine if you don’t have a need. Hard to justify a surgeon on staff without the need for surgeries.

Maybe we set a new course. Not cop to the world. Make more here. Reduce military spending. Don’t elect self dealing cheneys

Maybe it’ll be a bust. But with our debt trying a new approach is probably prudent

He might be off on some things but Jr and musk will bring ideas to gov we won’t see with the lifetime politicians from both sides. We just kick the same can and our debt continues to explode and what did we learn?

All the free cheese was a lesson no one learned. It wasn’t properly vetted, means tested, etc, but lost in what was tantamount to guaranteed income for a spell was the lowest level of poverty we’ve had in decades. Maybe there was a lesson there. Maybe means testing direct payouts with date certain limitations is more effective than the entrenched welfare programmatic state. I don’t hear anyone talking about it. Bc they want their gov jobs. Politicians are lifers onto the next thing etc. So we do shit like we always have.

Let’s look at new approaches. Domestically and abroad. A negotiated settlement and ending the deaths and financial blackhole doesn’t make one pro Russia. Bc jr has a questionable take on one issue out of a thousand we’re going to declare him ineligible? Guy is fit af at 70. Stick with the trannie who is a hundred pounds overweight on our health decisions ? Please

I'm gonna give them a chance to try new things. It might be better, it might not, but I have no qualms about trying a different approach.

If it doesn't work, there's no one to blame but themselves. They won't be able to point to the other side.

It's put up or shut up time.

These old war heads are stuck in their ways. If we drill baby drill. If we bring back some manufacturing to where we are less reliant on imports. If we aren’t this ubiquitous military presence that breeds resentment and emboldens terrorists, maybe we won’t need this damn near world hegemony we’ve had to maintain.

Maybe it’ll be a bust but I agree let’s see. Our path now is untenable. What I don’t believe is in American patience. If musk says this will cause short term pain Americans won’t allow it. 4 years is a short window and any Dem that doesn’t focus on minor gender assignment subsidies will win handily imo

He makes money suing companies, including drug companies, so we can completely trust his judgement? But we cannot trust scientists because they only believe things for money? Kennedy and Musk and Trump are somehow altruistic and not looking out for their own wealth?

Where did I write completely trust.
Where did I write we cannot trust scientists.
Kennedy Jr made wealth by suing companies like Monsanto. I doubt the gov will pay him anything close to that. You don’t believe people can be both? Want to make money and do good? Gates? Musk? Jr? Brad? Does altruistic work require a vow of poverty to be genuine?

One doesn't have to be poor, but some people are VERY not shy about self interest. It is my complaint about the impact of Ayn Rand, that self interest has become the highest importance. I don't know Kennedy's or Musk's record of donation. I know Gates has given a ton to Africa.

But Kennedy isn't a scientist any more than Jenny McCarthy was. What gives him more credibility than Ms McCarthy? He is just a celebrity with a law degree. Note, I do not subscribe to a popular theory here that a law degree infers any superior knowledge.

If vaccines have issues, it will be statistical analysis that reveals it.

It’s hard to take you seriously with the he’s a celebrity with a law degree. He’s litigated complex environmental and chemical cases. That’s not for the faint of heart nor is it something Jenny McCarthy could do. Nor most people period. What’s more he takes a critical eye towards things our gov doesn’t seem to. So he can repose his trust in experts while reviewing these things. You know he himself didn’t testify at these trials. He used experts….

You are sounding like CO, lawyers are smartest people on earth.

The courtroom is an animal, and lawyers know that animal. It is like chess, Magnus is the greatest at chess, could pummel Musk at chess, doesn't mean he could build an electric car company.

Jim Parsons read all those Big Bang lines written by scientists perfectly, it doesn't mean he had a single idea what any of it meant. Lawyers created a system that gives them an advantage. All it proves is Kennedy can win in the confines of the courtroom using the rules of the courtroom. Courts are not about truth.

Here is my theory. Tell me where it is wrong

I am a lawyer trying to prove vaccines turn people into pandas. I hire a mercenary scientist who will testify to anything for money. I ask that scientist to help write me the questions I need to prove the corrupt Lilly scientists are covering this up. I then memorize them, like an actor, and repeat them in a deposition.

I am NOT saying lawyers are dumber than anyone else. But they are also not superior. They are smarter at how the law works. I would not hire an engineer to represent me in the courtroom but I wouldn't hire you to design a bridge across the Mississippi.

You don’t get it either. It’s not law school. It’s thirty years working in a field to understand that field. You sue a Dr for prom and they claim the patient is pissing and send her home when it’s amniotic fluid leaking and she has sepsis you better understand the meds every bit as well as the Dr. Yours and theirs.

You sue Monsanto and claim a causal connection between a pesticide and cancer you better learn the chemicals, how they operate, the meds, and the link.

These aren’t gov salaried workers on the general schedule. They are people taking hundreds of millions of dollars away from corporations defended by some of the brightest minds we have. Yale law. Harvard law. Guys being paid $1,500 an hour for their work.

You have no idea

@Marvin the Martian where you are wrong is the supposition that they are just reading. No. They are learning. And spend years and years doing it. Being taught by experts. To understand the field they are in.

There are guys doing traffic tickets. Flipping car crashes. Like a machine. By rote.

You do environmental torts. Like jr. Mass torts. Mdls. You are in a world with a floor of five million dollars and no ceiling. Billions. Talcom powder. Tobacco. Pesticides. You have to KNOW the science.

Med mal too.
Engineering litigation. Products. You have to know it like an engineer does.

Law school gives you a foundation. Teaches you how to think. Then you spend 50 years learning about the subjects you are suing over. Meds. Births. Pesticides. Whatever

You have to be ridiculously smart to excel litigating that shit

They learn a mile wide an inch deep. Spend 5 hours with an engineer learning about engineering and I still am not driving across a bridge you design.

Sit down for 10 hours to learn why a heart surgery failed and I am still not hiring you to perform heart surgery on me.

Lastly, far and away the largest number of elected officials are lawyers, are you going to argue their vastly superior ability over the rest of us has made a better country.

Lawyers are not better or worse than the rest of us. I am sorry that suddenly you have adapted CO's " I am better than everyone because I am a lawyer mantra".
