I don't think I've seen another player since him that had his hitting abilities and bat control. He could spray the ball anywhere, and all of these shifts they do nowadays would have been a joke to him. He was inducted in the Reds' Hall of Fame.Admired him as a player. Hated him for what he did. Eh, he's probably not in my top ten hitters in my lifetime.
