Bud Selig hired Uecker to do Brewers games on radio and was a longtime friend. Every time I brought up Bob to Bud, a smile crossed his face. The stories those two could share.

I saw a Carson clip yesterday. Johnny asked Bob if anything bothered him when he played. He said, "Johnny one time I was batting in the 9th inning and I looked at the opposing dugout. They were all in street clothes....yeah that bothered me".
