Rick Bozich with his thoughts regarding the ongoing Indiana coaching search and Penn State.

I think it's Drew but if Kent says they have them locked up everybody is coaching so only Stevens, Bennett, Wright are available now.
No offense intended to him, I understand it gets people like you to watch, but he has/had no idea. If that were the case, do you not think that by now the information would have been confirmed, or at least suggested by a media outlet that actually covers Indiana, either locally or nationally? While I do expect a deal to be wrapped up and possibly announced following the 2nd weekend of NCAA play, there is "no way" they "had their guy" a week ago, or even today for that matter.

Joe Hillman tossed his name out the last time he was on with me. Obviously, he is a quality coach. But I don't know about a guy who quits as the season was about to start? Strikes me as fearful.
Speaking of Joe. I had a poster compare him to Leal.

Would love your take on that comment!

Thinking anyone would tell Kent Sterling that info is rich. I mean. Come on people.

Veteran reporter Rick Bozich talks about the Indiana coaching search; are there more names we can eliminate? Probably. Is anyone moving to the front? TJ Otzelberger had his buyout reduced to $4 million. Penn State in town as well.

And you know what Jim. You have really worked hard getting great guests. You have for sure earned my 100 bucks a year. I’m back on the premium train. Time to give those guys on the premium board some valuable information :).

My take would be simple and brief. Joe Hillman averaged 44 points per game in HS at a high level, in California. He's a scrapper and gave up scoring for a role at IU as a starter for Bob Knight on a very talented national championship team by being mentally and defensively tough as nails. Anthony is a great kid and more valuable to this particular team than people might realize because of their lack of talent. Maybe he could have been a 'Joe Hillman' if he had not been coached by Archie Miller and Mike Woodson.

Good points also he hasn't had any more information since he said Indiana has there guy.

So you want to hire a 63 year old coach that has spent his whole career in the east and got out of coaching due to NIL changes. No thanks
Three reasons. One, he can coach his ass off, two he develops players that go onto be really good players at the next level, and three, college teams are creating GM positions to deal with NIL. A fourth would be that he's a very smart guy and very personable.
