You do realize that this is nothing more than a payment for RFK’s endorsement (which I think I read he offered to Kamala first), right?
He may prove the most effectual appointment of all. I’d put myself out there for him. And it could be a total disaster. I hope he has the self awareness to read the room, repose his trust, relent his past positions on certain shit, and affect change on nutrition and food processing

Even if you were to totally ignore the many bizarre and totally unhinged moonbat beliefs of RFK Jr., he is fundamentally unqualified to lead the USA Health care efforts, a role demanding scientific literacy. He has no scientific training whatsoever. His public statements suggest a sub-5th grader level scientific literacy. He also has no experience at leading any organization even 1% of the size of HHS.
This isn't a hard decision, even if you focus only on the basic requirements to effectively perform the job.
It's like taking Murt off his job operating the McDonald's ice cream machine and putting him on the Supreme Court.

I'd be surprised if he's as transformative as everyone thinks he's going to be.
May be some overhauls in approval processes and the banning/warning of some chemicals. But I don't see many mandates to the public to quit eating Fruity Pebbles.
I think she'll do a great job, but I doubt we ever really know. This isn't a real public position, or shouldn't be, imo.

You ever notice that none of his stories start out with any derivative of the phrase "I was with some friends and...", but instead they all start with something to do with 1) a stranger who means him some sort of harm or projects ill will upon him, 2) a family member that he either claims is whacked out or eaten up with MAGA/Fox News or one of his kids who attends socially distanced drum circles while fully masked?

Not the Dad grew up with. Others on here cited similar sad transformations, when I brought his up, a time or two among 30,000 posts. While other family members have been touched by such poison, such as my late Trumper brother and my anti-vax Trumper sister, I don't recall ever discussing that much on here.
