Reneau gone

I think Malik gave good effort. He got bigger and stronger. And he pretty much demanded double teams. The problem IMO is that he is a 5 on offense with no perimeter skills. But he can’t be a 5 on defense because he gives zero rim protection and is a poor defender.
So he is always a defensive liability. I’m fine if he returns, because he can get you buckets. But he needs to be a 25 minute guy.
Oddly enough, his perimeter game was decent last year, but fell off a cliff this season.

He may do very well with the new coach. We'll see.
I think so. He and all the others needed a fire lit under them. They did start to play with some passion after halftime of the Purdue game.

With Reneau out, it probably cost us a couple games, at least. And we were in many games right up to the end, where our lack of fundamentals and coaching killed us at the end of games.

I think he would really improve with some hard coaching.

Who is going to pony up NIL money for any of them, except Rice?

I do hate to see Reneau go. We were a much better team with him in the lineup this year. If he hadn't gotten hurt, we could have had a much better record.
Why Rice? He showed nothing.

I thought he did. When he finally started playing like a PG, he was pretty effective.

I think he has potential to be a pretty good PG. And his defense was pretty good when he got serious about it.

You'd be surprised what some of these guys could do with good coaching.

Reneau will go to Miami
Is that Miami University, University of Miami, Miami Ohio, Miami Dolphins???
He obviously didn’t know where he has been playing. What a joke with him saying University of Indiana in his “goodbye” message. Well, I guess he was smart enough to sucker the NIL folks. He might get one more NIL deal, but after that, it’s exactly what he’ll be making for a while…
nil.
Time to clear out the boneheads.

Looking at that last Oregon game that people were blaming on Leal for his two missed free throws even though we lost by double digits, he was 0 - 5 on FG, 0 - 2 on 3pt shots, 0 - 0 from the line and had 1 rebound in 28 minutes. He did have 5 assists, and one turnover though.

Yeah, his offense definitely dropped off. I think he was told to quit shooting so much.

People like Leal for his intangibles and I think Rice is kind of the same. Know your role.

Dolphins... They're projecting him as a short yardage TE... 😉🍺🏈🍺

Poor Leal... 😞

You just Know he's beginning his professional life with his very own Stalker who'll soon be gleefully highlighting every commission lost..., big or small... 😖
