There's one thing you can count on with Republicans on this forum: When a Dem is in office, the President really matters, but when a Repub is in office, former Presidents really matter.
Remember trump was left with a flaming pile of Biden. Ten million illegals. Sky high prices. Wars. And as president some of these things are out of his hands. Sticky inflation is a residual of Covid and a global phenomenon. Little to do with a president. The price of gas is likewise subject to externalities a president has little control over. He’ll end this war soon by playing hard ball. The border is fixed. We’ll get Greenland one way or another. Please don’t worry about that. We just have to have patience which I get is hard. Maybe I missed it. Did Biden ever show us his plan to remove Russia from Ukraine by force? Did he ever state that as even his objective? Did he have a plan to end the war? All we heard was “as long as it takes.” That isn’t worth a damn.
I’m not aware of any plan by anyone to either end the war or mount an Allied offensive to push Russia back to Russia. Seems like Trump is the only person on the scene who is trying to end this.
He's trying to end it by giving Putin everything. You can't shift the blame for that back onto Biden. God knows you'll try, but you can't.

US statecraft 101 is building coalitions, applying pressure, seeking opportunities while your opponent flails. That’s been the successful playbook we’ve used in Europe since WW2. It’s same playbook that brought down Assad and boxed Iran in.
Trump’s playbook may be great but so far it has zero wins. ZERO. It doesn’t build teams. It doesn’t push for or even really allow for buy-in. It doesn’t clearly state goals, just repeats populist anthems. It focuses on blaming the victims and past administrations.
There’s really not much to get behind.
