I got a message from a coach down in Georgia his morning and he told me four 2018 prospects from down there will be at IU this upcoming Sunday for a one-day camp. The updated list of visitors for camp season is in the post pinned at the top of the page.
I also exchanged messages with 4-star Florida DB Craig Watts last night. He told me that he will be at IU on either Monday or Tuesday of next week. He is not exactly sure yet what day, but it should be one of those two and he plans on staying overnight. That will obviously be a huge visit for the IU staff. They are recruiting Watts extremely hard and that effort has paid off so far.
Illinois OL Desmond Bland was at IU this past Saturday for an unofficial visit and he told me that it went very well. I will have more on him after we talk later today.
I got a message from someone close to the Brownsburg HS team and he told me that the IU staff did a good job of showing Toks Akinribade how much they want him when he was on campus yesterday. We'll see what happens but it looks like IU is right there in the mix for his commitment.
