I just exchanged texts with Tennesse DT Michael Perry. He was at IU today for a visit and he told me that he had a great time and that the visit definitely met his expectations. He is the prospect that a few days ago told Josh Helmholdt in a video interview that IU was in his top 3 along with Missouri and Ole Miss.
I also exchanged messages with Alabama RB Tyus Flakes. He is on campus today as well for an unofficial visit at IU. He told me that the visit has gone very well and IU is in the driver's seat for him.
Florida DE Keldric Preston told me today that he will be at IU next weekend for a visit. Preston is right up there with Jovan Swann as far as priority targets for IU on the defensive line.
Florida DB Mark Williams told me that he will be at IU from June 25th-27th for a visit. He has an offer from the Hoosiers and they are strong with him.
Three-star Maryland athlete Patrick Johnson told me today that he plans on making a trip to Bloomington in July to check out IU. He is from the same high school as 2015 IU signee Devonte Williams.
Ohio RB Chawntez Moss told me today that he plans on returning to IU next weekend after visiting this weekend. There was some confusion over whether or not the staff wanted him to workout and since he thought he didn't have to he did not participate in last night's camp. It looks like he will be back next weekend to workout for the coaches.
