FAIR WARNING: This is a little dense. I tried to include as many pictures as I could and links to Tweets to make it a little more fun. But here's some tidbits from the world of Indiana recruiting. (Also, I know I'm actually posting this on the 11th. I jumped the gun by about 45 minutes.)

Let's start with a couple of stories here...

2019 WR Marcus Washington doesn't seem to be in any mood to talk favorites, but he'll be taking Indiana into consideration when he makes his college decision.

2018 four-star linebacker Robert Hicks wasn't surprised by his Indiana offer, but he's definitely happy to see it become official.

Chinedu Ogbonna is one to watch really carefully over the next few days. It sounds like he's on the verge of committing to Indiana. We've kind of heard this script before with him, and it hasn't turned into anything. But the three-star linebacker out of Georgia is certainly on IU's mind if they can get some details cleared away about getting to Bloomington as a student, it sounds like.

Keep an eye out on former IU running back commit Lynn Bowden. He's releasing a top-10 list at some point today. Expect Indiana to be on it. But I mean, a top-10 list is kind of nothing at this point in the year. I'll be more excited when it's down to three or so.

I got ahold of Lowell cornerback Jordan Jusevich briefly to talk about his IU offer that came last week. He's pretty excited. The 2018 prospect who beat up on my Crown Point Bulldogs earlier this year seems to have the Hoosiers high on his list. I'm going to have a story up on him in a few days here where there should be some more detail on the offer. But IU really likes him.

I know I'm beating a dead horse when I say Indiana is in a great spot for Beau Corrales, but here I am saying that Indiana is in a good spot for Beau Corrales again. From what I've heard, Utah has backed off the three-star receiver from Texas. I think they've got some other plan in mind. Corrales was in Bloomington for an official visit and enjoyed his time (everyone says that, though. Who ever has a BAD visit?). Keep an eye out, again, for a longer story in a couple of days. Seems like it will be either the Utes or the Hoosiers, though. Let's just play the Foster Farms Bowl for him?

Michael Ziemba and Harry Crider were hanging out at IU practice on visits over the weekend. Kind of cool to be meeting your teammate like that.

I got ahold of 2017 quarterback Dresser Winn, who guided his high school to a state championship this year. No IU offer yet, but he really likes IU. He said that if the Hoosiers offered, and they visited him not long ago, he'd have a hard time passing IU up. Longer story on him coming out TODAY, so keep refreshing the site. It'll be posted in the forums. He's a kid who can make plays on his feet, but he's no a scrambler. He's an extend-the-play kind of guy. That's what Tom Allen wants.

Noah Joseph was on the road visiting Quran Hafiz, who is due to make a decision on his recruitment any day now. He wants to be a mid-year kid. IU is in a good spot for him, but Nebraska keeps on chugging along there. Also: How good must football coaches be at setting up Christmas trees? They see a TON of them at visits. They must get all the cool ideas.

Speaking of in-home visits, Mark Hagen visited IU commit Britt Beery. I feel like Beery has been the voice of this recruiting class. He's really all-in on Indiana and has been vocal recruiting other kids. I love the kid's personality. And he's a dang good football player.

Speaking of speaking of in-home visits (sorry, that's a lame joke) Kurt Rafdal and Peyton Hendershot both got a visit from James Patton. I only got a chance to see Rafdal play once this year, and it was before he committed, so I wasn't all that interested in him while I was at the game. But everyone tells me he's the real deal. His film looks good. IU likes him. I'm excited to see him play. That tight end group could use some help.

Haven't hard much from the De'Morreal Burnam camp. The three-star linebacker currently committed to Tennessee visited over the weekend. I'm not sold on him flipping, but he did post a picture of his visit on Twitter. I like these photos because it gives you a glimpse of what the IU staff thinks is cool to show kids. The green room is apparently a popular choice. I'd have fun in there, too. It's a packed little room, though, from what I remember.

Omariaous Burnam was also on hand. He's a 2019 athlete. I don't know much about him, to be honest. I'd imagine he's related to De'Morreal?

IU commit Tyler Knight is getting reflective on his last week of high school. The offensive lineman is enrolling early and will be in Bloomington next semester for spring ball.

JUCO linebacker Mike McGinis was also in town for his official. @Stu Jackson will have more on him soon. But again, as we've said, top target guy here. He'll have two years to play two seasons.
