It's like they take a shot and then they don't follow up with the block.
There are so many things wrong with this team...... punting sucks. OL is pathetic. WRs can't make difficult catches. DBs aren't anywhere close to receivers many times. Defense consistently gives up 5 yards after first contact. Walk-ons playing key positions. You name any aspect of the game and we're pathetic.
I know, I know - lots of injuries. What was our excuse the first game against Iowa when we had the exact same problems in game 1 that we do in game 12?
I've watched IU football for over 50 years and this is the'worst it's been, imo, and it's not even close. There is not one single returning player I look forward to seeing next year or who I think has the potential of a player like Micah McFadden.
Maybe we'll go back to our recruiting pitch of immediate playing time to draw in some talent.
I'm tired of kicking the same dog, but the Offensive coaching staff has to be revamped. If coaches aren't gone tomorrow, something's wrong.
