Ray Lewis in NFL HOF

I don't know what went into Rays problems in civilian life, but on the field of play he was the greatest defensive player I ever saw play. His fire and passion were unmatched. He is a mans man...a true football player...even if he may now be other things as well. They do not diminish his play...he is pure HOF material...even OJ was...despite being a cold blooded killer. They were different times and different people. All too bad...

Come on, IUCol, calling someone a Man's Man is the ultimate compliment to many men. I think it's a compliment that Lewis might deserve on the field only...is he a Man's Man outside of football?

Off the field activities are not supposed to be counted for HOF selection so yes he’s in.

I wish he played for my team. Incredible player.

I know there were court precedings for the murder way back early in Ray's career and Ray was never convicted. I didn't review the evidence to form any opinion of what happened but the justice system did what it was supposed to do. If he was permitted to play after the courts decision then I'm OK with him going to the HOF.
