This is the problem with some fan’s expectations. No team, and I mean NO TEAM IN THE HISTORY OF BASKETBALL, is good at all times. I watched Baylor vs Villanova a few weeks ago and they looked like sub .500 teams on that night. I have seen several Purdue games where they have looked bad.
IU will not look good at all times ever, in any season. If those are your expectations then you might as well stop watching basketball because it doesn’t happen.
Having said that, if IU can play with that level of intensity and effort going forward, we may not look good all the time but we will win more than we lose. If we can do it and shoot better from range we will win a lot more than we lose.
