Ralph Green III Arrested, Battery Charges

He should be gone....

if the report is true and he hit a woman, he needs to be gone.

If a freshman can drive with alcohol in his system...

...and hit his teammate causing serious brain trauma and not be penalized, then I don't think Ralph should have much done to him. Dont get me wrong, hitting a woman, I will never condone...however, if Ralph is sent packing for smacking a woman and leaving no visible marks, scratches or bruises, while a basketball player gets off scott free, I've got a big problem with the person signing off on the punishments.

Can't even get away from the Crean haters on the football board?

I hope someone with such an opinion never sipped alcohol before they were 21, or else the hypocracy is astounding.

Holt wasn't severely punished becaused the accident wasn't his fault. Simple as that.

Green's case I would think will largely depend on whether there were witnesses. If it's his word against the girls and even maybe her boyfriends, and with there being no visible evidence, tough to throw the book at him. This sounds like it was at a party, so it would seem there should have been a lot of witnesses. What are they saying?

You are misrepresenting the facts

Holt did not have enough alcohol in his system to impair is driving ability.

Holt did not "hit" Davis, Davis jumped onto/in front off Holt's car, so there's nothing Holt could have done to avoid the impact.

The thing is that other than being present, Holt's actions did nothing to cause the accident.

So davis got up and ran head first into a parked car.

Nope...Holt had zero to do with it...nada, nothing...all davis's fault.

good thing that vehicle was in park and holt was over the age of 21 without any alcohol in his system. Not to mention that Holt was good enough to DD to drop him off in a parking lot as opposed to at his dorm or apartment.

It's hard to believe what you are posting here is really how you have interpreted this incident.

Just because its a car vs pedestrian doesn't automatically mean the person in the car is even partially at fault.

By your logic, I'd be somewhat at fault if I get hit by a someone running a red light because I had the audacity to get into a car, turn on the ignition, and enter an intersection with a green light.
