Thx dude. Could have been worse. Were going to build out a big retail space on top of the $20k a month rent for manufacturing space
Yeah I mentioned a couple years ago that prices in Michigan were so low it was impossible to see it being a profitable business. Going to need a lot of suppliers and retailers to close up shop to restore anything approximating an equilibrium
That’s what’s happening. All of them like ours will sell the licenses and a handful of large MSOs will be left. Selling at $5 wholesale is the squeeze. Cleaning everyone out

With Ohio now legalizing it, we're basically surrounded by states that are a couple hours away, at most to get it. If Hicksville in Ohio ever gets a shop, it'll be like the old days when Indiana folks would go there on Sundays for beer. 15-30 minute drive for anyone around here.
The edibles space is way over saturated and demand isn’t what was expected. Throw in obscenely onerous regs from manufacturing to distribution and it ain’t easy

ATC instructed that they were approved to transition into Alpha airspace. They simply didn't understand the height's that they could achieve with that clearance. They always dreamed, but simply wasn't ready once they got there.

Out west. There’s distances that are too far for kids in a car but would be good i think in a small rv. But they nor I will want to sleep in it

I never did the RV thing. We just stayed somewhere every night. I gave my kids the same advice my dad game me when it comes to long trips in the car and how to deal with the boredom.

Interesting. I think trump is right that when prices are high it is hard to bring them down. People get conditioned to paying more and corps want the best margins possible. The gouging bit is interesting too. The temporal circumstance or conditions for so many inflated products aren’t there so you can’t call it gouging as a result of disaster or supply shortage for many goods but it is like companies profited from Covid and woke Biden but while not gouging by definition have certainly taken advantage going forward with elevated prices
Commodities like eggs go up and down all the time, but durable goods and consumables aren't coming down. Actually, anything that requires labor over a certain % of COGS and/or overhead isn't coming down. Once wages get caught up with everything else that's risen, you're only reducing that by firing people and replacing them with cheaper labor or automation.
I’ll tell ya another thing that drives me nuts about the tariffs and trump and bringing manufacturing back. I don’t think he realizes the capital costs and infrastructure that’s already overseas. That’s already funded. The equipment in our factory in Pakistan is owned by us. I paid for it with my partners. I can’t get investors to go do that again. And that holds true for hundreds of thousands of small and medium businesses. Much less added costs of every salary, osha, workers comp, flsa, unemployment, on and on.
