As of today, egg prices are at the highest price in the last ten years. I assumed ending DEI, trans stuff, and asking the fed to cut rates would lead to egg prices dropping. What gives?

If egg prices continue to rise, do we blame DEI and woke chickens? Do we blame immigrants given less demand? Do we blame the Heritage Foundation for eventually making our national flag a picture of a navel orange with the ten commandments watermarked in the background? These are all legit concerns that we MAGA Repubs need to consider. How do we justify these prices!?

Egg prices, man. What gives?

Damn shitlibs are stopping us from selling, buying, and eating eggs from chickens infected with some made-up virus they call H5N1. Probably Fauci again. Trump will put those eggs back on the shelf. And we will stop monitoring where so-called outbreaks that fake virus crop up.

Merika.

Based on my trips to Aldi egg prices have gone up 20 cents since Trump took office to like 4.30 or so a dozen. Eggs for years were 2.00 bucks give or take some pennies. All of your questions are over the 20 cents and not the 2 dollars.

Gas hasn't changed at all around here. Been slightly under $3 for over a month.

Nice try though.
Yeah I think you’re right. It must have been a lucky station. I just looked and there’s a 20 plus cent difference in prices around town. But the avg is actually slightly up this month.

Crazy 2022 it was $4.68. Now $2.78 for cheap

Congrats?
The wife or retirement?

Retirement's at least ten years off pending a miracle (I turn 50 sooner than i'd like).

Also, the kid has reopened her college decisioning to include - U of Cincinnati, Butler, IU, Purdue, and.......

Kentucky.

I should have been kinder when she was younger. She's been accepted to all.

Question - do I HAVE to wear Purdue or Kentucky gear if my kid goes there?

Absolutely not. Burn any that she may bring home.

wouldn't be surprised if 2022 was inflated to make up for the lost profits during covid when no one was driving as much.

winter also sees a dip in price generally. It will likely go up in summer a bit.

This ain't looking good based on my math...

20 cent increase every two weeks.
52 weeks / 2 = 26
26 x 4 = 104 weeks (over 4 years)
104 x .20 (cents) = $20.80
$20.80 + 4.30 = $25.10

So based on this bi-monthly increase, eggs will be around $25.10/dozen in four years. All for the price of ending woke.

Look at this difference between Costco and Bp. Same hood.

that's crazy.

I always thought costco was cheaper so fill up whenever I go. Unfortunately they must have just refilled with more expensive gas the day i went a couple weeks ago because it was not cheaper than getgo until getgo's prices updated the next day. Timing is key sometimes.

Wish costco had price signs just like everyone else for their gas. Between that and randomly relocating stock so you have to walk the whole store every time are my 2 gripes but that's another topic.

After my breakups I never go to Costco anymore. I can’t think of the last time. But yeah that price difference is nuts. Like the distance of nick’s to the Irish lion. Not the other side of town or anything

oops... i was still doing math.. 7-11 Conv Store... not 7-11pm when dmb and the other elite Dream Teamers tune into Fox for their daily facts and logic news.
I was joking. 7/11s are almost gone. I have a buddy who owns one of the few left here. Got it from his dad. In a shit neighborhood. Constant theft.

7/11 was iconic back in the day. Clean. Big slurpees

7/11s are still the prevalent convenience store in Chicago. For the longest time there were two on Lincoln Ave less than 2 blocks away from each other. Blew my mind.

Is this real cuz, if so, that's like 100x pettier than popping the W's out of the keyboards on the way out. Didn't think Joe had it in him (let's be fair, he wouldn't have any idea he even signed it).
