The Huskers were trailing going late in the 3rd, 3-0, in a snoozer of a game, so it took them three quarters to get going.
Boiler fans were ready to anoint Card a first team All-American after the season opening win over Indiana State when he hit on something like 24 of 25 passes, but he has come apart since then.
Look for the Boilers to go 1-6 to start the season with their next three games @ Wisconsin, @ Illinois before a home game with Oregon. Life isn't so kind post-B1G West schedules.

Purdue’s only other chance for a win is vs Northwestern. They are going either 1-11 or 2-10. It’s a beautiful thing to watch. 😂
