Purdue owes us one

Hey PU fan. I do hope you are correct. I hope Purdue does what it has to do to make sure Mike Woodson isnt here next season. When IU wants to show they care again, I will then root for them to win everygame like I have since a young lad in 1989-1990... Being from Evansville, sure, I want to beat Purdue. But I dont dislike them as much as other IU fans do. Maybe its a southern Indiana thing.
Either way, I hope Purdue wins tonight if it means more pressure to rid of Woodson.
I'm with ya on this, ordinarily I would want IU to curb stomp the PUkes in any competition, this game being no exception.
That said, I won't lose any sleep if they run us off the court. This feels less like a football Bucket Game and more like a basketball F*** It game.

I get your apathy. I don't have empathy for anyone hoping we get beat tonight though.
Yeah, I can't root against the Cream and Crimson, especially when playing a PUke or a pUKe team.
I had PU friends who rooted for the Soviets vs IU in those exhibition games in 86/87. They were rooting for the F'n USSR.

Didn’t know you were an Evansville man like myself (Westsider). But I graduated from IU in ‘89
I’m sure it will be ugly but it won’t be as ugly as the football game.
