that a football team and basketball team from the same university lose in OT in the same day?

I thought Brohm shouldve won the game going for 2 in the first OT.

Actually, they lost in three OT's today with the two in football. It occurred to me at the time that Brohmbardi might go for two, but he would have been crucified if they had not made it. Sure, it's easy to say now that he should have gone for 2 after the 1st OT, based upon what happened for playing it safe with the extra point.

Nah - they go for two...

Make it - fans happy as hell to beat IU rival for the bucket and keep the ‘Brohm genius’ alive and end the season on high note

Miss it - 4th string QB and all else was lucky to even get to that opportunity to win...and Brohm was considered ‘gutsy’ to have faith in his offense that had momentum

It's far too easy to criticize with 20-20...would that I were a coach I may have made all of the same decisions...I suspect the coaches understand all the statistics as it relates to decision-making in game play and OT. I will say...man I was happy when Brohm went for the FG and not the first down. AND I was surprised he did not take the ball when they won the coin toss.

Idk. It's much easier to coach as the 2nd team getting the ball (know what you need to score). He was given his new contract because he won Purdue's most important game of the year, last year (obviously vs IU as it is their fans only concern).

It is funny to see PU alums at work on Monday after losing to IU. All the Purdue shirts that were worn to work last week are back in the closet in embarrassment today. All saying how they should have won. Hahahahaha! Tom Allen beat Brohm.

You have to admit they had a ton of injuries. It was like us in basketball last year.

No...no it wasn't.

Key injuries? Yep...just like IU did/does.

But as a % of players in the game...as an impact on the team... it isn't remotely close to what IU had last year in hoops.
