Hold on. They were winning most the game till that last 2 minutes. Purdue had a chance to win and they played a hell of a lot better than we did. But we got the W and they did not.
You are absolutely correct. Appleby threw 3 interceptions of which 2 were returned for TDs. At other times he looked pretty sharp. Consistency is his problem. But they almost beat a team on the road that was a hell of a lot better than SIU. Watching that game I was thinking that, had IU played the pukes Saturday, we would have been smoked. I think they're going to be a lot tougher than expected.

I want to see IU go bowling, but not going to happen giving up points on D like flood water after a Hurricane. Outscoring the opposition is not going to get IU bowl eligible in the toughest division of the B1G. The OSU might be scoring until Christmas on Wilson's D.
