Poor Purdue, today is..

Purdue should win, but it's a no win situation for Purdue. They either get upset or win a game they should have. I don't really understand your comment about getting upset because it's happened so many times though.

Not sacred personally, but its a must win.

Seems natural for him to want to be in WL, but man transferring to a rival? That’s tough. Either way, hope he’s happy.
I agree. Good luck to him. He never really developed after his pretty good freshman year.
Great defense and to the best of my knowledge was never a problem on or off the court.

You are so transparent. If you can't thoroughly enjoy losses by Ky and PUke in the NCAAT, you can't even pretend to be a real Hoosier fan. We all want IU to be better, but no true IU fan wants to be as sleazy as Kentucky or as perpetually "slightly above average" as Purdue. We want to be the great program we once were - pretty simple.

But regardless of where we happen to be, we all rejoice when PUke and pUKe lose ( just as their true fans do when we lose).

If not scared certainly not showing confidence. Typical PUke.

THIS, a thousand times this.

Didn't shoot the ball like they should have, that's for sure. Tons of wide open looks. Pretty disappointing.
Ivey is definitely an alpha, and he had a tough night. St Peter’s made plays and free throws down the stretch,

“WE”……

you say nothing bad about Purdue, ever. And nothing good about IU, ever.
Do you know who behaves like that? Purdue fans.

again, my condolences over the loss last night. But the rest of “we” aren’t moping about it today. Painter had his shot. Probably the best shot he’s ever had. And he screwed the pooch again.

Well it’s hard to say much bad about Purdue the last 7 or so years. And nearly impossible to find something positive about IU in that time. Take the blinders off man.

Salty today I see.

The sun came up today and look at it this way...you lost to the Cinderella so the focus today nationally is how great The Peacocks are playing and what a great happy story this is and fortunately not how far adrift you guy's game plan and execution were.

You know it's spring in Indiana when Purdue is still playing basketball and IU is firing coaches. I swear, for being the supposed "little brother" every time I take a peek here you're being obsessed with Purdue.
20 hours later, and “fire matt painter “threads are popping all over GBI. Great call, Nostradamus.

This is such a beta mindset.

They will but they won't. They won't be as good as this year because they lose ivey, but trevion, hunter, and Sasha shouldn't be as difficult to replace. Especially if they can land someone like Nijel Pack to be PG. Be a much different lineup, still a lot of talent. Just not a guy like ivey. I expect a top 4 in the big ten team next year.

You’re like the 15th person who has hinted at Pack to Purdue. Why? Because he played for another failed coach from the Keady tree?

A. Pack isn’t in the portal
B. I believe he just declared for the draft
C. Purdue is where PG’s go to die

Why would any self-respecting PG go play for Painter, especially after watching that BS last night?

I'd rather pursue a great coach than hang onto a mediocre coach forever. IU has standards, PU doesn't. If coaches at VCU, Arkansas Little Rock, Mean Green, and the Peacocks can win in the NCAA's, why can't Matt or PU? Seriously, how many times does Lucy have to yank the football away before you catch on? Bill Parcells said you are what your record is: after 18 years, Matt is what he is.

Key phrase "every time I take a peek here". He (you) goes on to accuse someone else for being obsessed with their arch rival. It sounds to me like he is being obsessed with IU, doesn't it to you? He wrote that little bit at 4:33 PM yesterday. Boy, was he going to be in for a big surprise. I bet once St Peter's upset KY, PU fans thought no way would a 15 seed have any "juju" left in 'em to pull off another upset. Well, by 9 PM they found out the embarrassing way. Their well was not dry, as I bet they like to say on the farm, but not about the game. Lord have mercy! I never dreamed Purdue would make history last night. That record may stand as long as our undefeated one.

A. If he hits it, which seems likely
B. He wanted Purdue out of high school, but Purdue didn't have room. Multiple Purdue connections.
C. How is Purdue where PG's go to die? They don't run the motion anymore. They run an offense capable of highlighting guards. Extensive playbook.

Was the extensive guard playbook abandoned against The Peacocks, especially the second half? Ivey dribbling, shooting and turning it over does not seem extensive. The other guards standing and watching Trevion is not a highlight. Help us here...

And why are you here?

If you haven't watched Purdue play all year, I get that you don't see their set plays and how they run their offense. Ivey had a bad game and the offense was out of rythmn the 2nd half, leading to good shooters missing.

And I've explained why I'm here multiple times. What am I hurting?
