4. It just seems like this team plays a little bit better on the road, like the MSU game. I see both teams struggling right now but think we can win this one. I rather see some positive than only seeing all the negative like some people on this board.
I say the super secret exhibition game on Nov 4. We will dominate Hanover 104-56 with 16 deflections,oppps wrong coach.
Not trying to be negative here, just have a little fun. I am always hopeful the next game will bring the next W, but of course it's been frustrating lately. After the losing streak started, the one game that I thought IU would never win was the game at Sparty. Shows what I know. I'm hoping we go on a win streak, maybe actually "win out," win a game or two in the BTT, then get a respectable seed. I won't quit hoping until the games are played!

Oh, good God. I sometimes agree with you, but when, when is it ever acceptable historically for us to lose more than 2 in a row and not on the road against good teams … this is a death spiral and you know what … I work there, and there is talk of change already if crusades to a lose out/lost team. Those that are behind it are not just petitioning … they're telling.
I certainly agree we play better on the road and we likely will not win another home game all year. That being said Minnesota has lost four in a row and will be hungry. I think we lose by 15.
It is likely they are as screwed up as we are. Minny is a toss up. If we have any pride left, we will beat Purdue. If not, Rutgers at home will be a chance for us to win a game despite our internal turmoil.
We could go on a winning streak at any time, or not. I'm ready for those that are unhappy to leave and for the team to get their minds right with the right people for next year.
I think we can possibly beat Rutgers at home but the Purdue game is not going to be pretty. Talent wise they are not better then can shoot the lights out and have high bbal iq. We have neither and they will likely slice us apart from the three point line. We will have to place our best game of the year to have a chance to beat Purdue.
If we can beat MSU on the road, we can beat Purdoo. Purdoo is playing well up until now. Painter's teams can get cold as quick as they get hot. This game comes down to pride and how hard we play. I doubt it will be ugly. We will win if we play hard and understand this is a rivalry.
