As far as this non "real fan" is concerned, the last decade as been painful and disheartening. Being a non "real fan" I've had so many moments of optimism only to be replaced by heartbreak and, I'll admit it, anger. I've stopped watching live games a while back. It's much more fun to watch the games we won on youtube TV and only to look on with disgust to the final score on theScore app on my phone. When Woodson was hired, I was jubilant. It didn't long for me, this non "real fan", to sink back into "here we go again." Here's hoping that Buckner stays as far away from the next hire as is allowed. I'm hoping we don't get an invite. If we do, I'll just shake my head again and again reading a box score: FG: 21/56 3FG 2/17 FT 5/9 TO: 17
Please let this end. This non "real fan" is 70 yrs old and running out of time. I want to be a "real fan" again.

Maybe if they fire the coach.... that would probably help.

Until then grab a box of tissues and maybe eat some chocolate ice cream.

I haven’t paid much attention this year. You seem to be up on the pertinent analytics. Who are your top choices for the new coach, financial considerations and drama aside?

It’s ending. And it’s happening. All at the same time. It’s gonna be another magical off season. Hope is a good thing Red. Maybe the best of things.

Anyone not named Beard, Collins, Brownell, Pearl, Cronin, Bennett, Alford.. would be fine. Add Drew to this fk no list.

McCollum, McCasland, Golden, or maybe even May or Wade... preferably one of the two McC. Unless basketball jesus is actually in play...

Either McCollum or Golden would be outstanding.

My choice is a coach hungry with experience. No one running from a program.

My heart says Dolson has had his man since before the ‘retirement’ announcement and it’s McCollum.

I would absolutely love it.

I like your list. I’m apprehensive about McCollum, but don’t know much about him. If we were financially willing to give Stevens a 10 year, $100m contract 4 years ago, we should be able to buy out Oats or Golden’s contract at $18 and $14m. This is where I’ve been all along. Get one of those guys to come up to basketball heaven and take over and dominate the somewhat archaic B1G style. I like McCasland and Wade, too.
