I worried about a concussion when he was speared. The shoulder was pretty obvious.

I really think Nat will be back this week. It's Jordon I'm concerned with. Paper said he was more limited than Nat and might take longer. AK will redshirt at QB. Cameron and Boudreau will back up.

I get the feeling that Nate could have gone last week, but the staff didn't want to risk aggravating the ankle with Nate playing a whole game. I think if we'd have been within a score in the 4th, I could have pictured him coming in.

Maybe the same for Howard, no more than total 3 or 4 carries, but if there were some short yardages situations with a chance to win, we might have seen him.

I think we'll see Nate starting this weekend. Howard might play, but I think his carries will be limited.

Yeah, I think you're right. They've mentioned in the H-T all week that Nat was cleared to play last week. I'd be cautious about playing either guy unless I was pretty sure they'd hold up.

We need NS in there to stretch the field and open up the run game.
100% agree. I thought everyone understood we live or die with Nat this season. Our defense needs him, our offense needs him, hell special team and the coaches calling plays need him in the game. With Nat at even 90% our chances of winning double imo. As for the backup problem, transfers undid coaching plans. We should have three starting QBs not one. Fate chose otherwise, not a recruiting blunder at all. Got left in the lurch. But with Nat back QB will stabilize, and that should give us back our running game and rest for the defense at least.
