Play Bryson Tucker, alot.....

I see your point entirely. I’ll say though, with Galloway and Leal, they’ve absolutely hit their ceiling. We know who they are. I can’t say the same thing about Tucker. That alone is worth exploring. But also, this team isnt going to win or compete for much of anything this season, so i think it’s better to start investing into next year. Start with Tucker, and either find out if he has the minerals or not. And if not, feel fine in letting him move on.
Makes sense

This team is comfortably on the bubble/in the bubble conversation. Will they win any trophies this year? No. But you've got quite a few kids who would love playing in March Madness as they are at the ends of their careers. So while I'm not optimistic, there's still a fighting shot for a postseason birth. Too early to just say **** it.

Wow. That’s really neat. I didn’t even think about rivers at higher elevations in NC. I have never fished for Musky but just pike. It looks like a lot of fun.
There's a small group of folks who are pretty dedicated to them. There's a Western NC Musky group on FB. There are some in some of the reservoirs, but they are much more prevalent in the rivers I mentioned and even some smaller rivers. Not super high elevation either. You get up that high and it's trout country, clear and cold and not enough nutrients to support anything besides trout. I'd guess the musky are around areas of 1500-2500' elevation. The areas that were really decimated by Hurricane Helene are some of the best musky water in NC. There's a lot of concern because CSX has been using heavy equipment and taking rock out of the riverbed to rebuild their rail line and so fisherman and environmentalists are concerned about the impact of changing the riverbed and having heavy industrial equipment in the river itself. Around Asheville there's a company that makes lots of underground pipe and their facility is right along the French Broad so a lot of concern about chemicals and their product that got washed into the river. No one had ever seen a storm like that.

The highest paid team in the big ten is on the bubble. Talk about a massive underachieve.

Well, if they win enough games then it will have been because the quality of play improved greatly. I don’t think that happens, but that’s the truth

Thank you for posting this and still flabbergasted that there are Trout and Musky in NC. I was completely ignorant but after you explained it makes perfect sense. I haven’t been in NC except for the Charlotte airport watching NASCAR in the bar waiting for my next flight and so kind of a mythical place for me, the home of so many great basketball players and teams. Another twenty years and this storm will just be a legend-hopefully with no long term damage to the fisheries.

It dont mater who we put on the floor the coach will find a way to turn it into a shit show. This roster has talent a good coach would have us rolling Woodson can't coach needs to go until then be ready for disappointment.

This team is/should be talented enough to win #6

Plan a trip! the NC mountains are great! Blowing Rock, Linville Falls, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail, Boone, Asheville, Hendersonville, Fontana Village, waterfalls all over.... great area to hang out in. You will have to watch the damaged areas, but much of the area wasn't impacted greatly and folks are working to recover in many of the hard hit areas. As I said, I love a little town near Asheville called Hot Springs. Right on the French Broad and the AT literally runs down Main St to get across the river on the town's bridge. Hot Springs was decimated, but is recovering. I try and make at least 1 trip a year up there and will again this spring/summer. It will take until 2026 for it to feel somewhat normal, but there will be enough open to still have fun and they need tourist $$.

Also, if you're coming from the midwest, you can hit Great Smoky Mountain National Park, which is in both TN and NC. Like I said, if you're a fisherman you can definitely plan on trout and smallie fishing for sure. The musky are less certain, but I think will still be around. If I wanted to musky fish, I'd hit the New River up around Roanoke VA. The New River was less affected. Great smallie water too!
