He made his weekly appearance on SiriusXM's show, The First Team, today. They usually open the phone lines up to callers and a guy from Indianapolis called in asking about the Hoosiers. Phil did a nice job of really breaking down why the team finished up where they did last year and going into the QB situation. He sees our offense as being greatly improved by the return of Sudfeld, but also pointed out Howard and our underrated OL. He thought the defense will be improved, but not great. He sees us getting out of the gate to 4-0 and then being able to steal a game like Rutgers. Obviously that isn't anything we haven't said here on the board, but it is nice to see someone from the outside validate what I think I'm seeing.
