he really likes the SEC, was in Lexington Ky a few years back was chatting with some ladies at the bar, they were wearing ESPN jackets. I said what do you all do for ESPN. They said they were make-up artist and were in town to do Paul's make up for a TV appearance, I wished them luck on what seemed like an impossible task.

Exactly. He needs a lot of work.

I assume this is in response to him saying it's absurd to give Indiana and CCC too much attention? That guy is the Jerry Springer of CFB - low class, gratuitous, knows perfectly well what he is doing. I'm violating my own rule here, usually I won't even acknowledge those who act like this because I don't want to participate in their game.

his show his normally hilarious, redneck after redneck SEC fans calling in insulting each other. someone from Indiana called into today and he immediately went to how they would be in the bottom half of the SEC

Who's Paul Finebaum? Never heard of him.
Sports journalist and talk show host who covers and promotes the SEC. He’s based out of Birmingham, I believe, and big mouthpiece for Bama although I think he is actually a Tennessee alum. Has his own show and has been on ESPN for a while.

Actually, I'm very aware of who he is... But I rarely pay attention to anything he writes. The few times I have read one of his articles or heard him talk he is so provincial that I give it no credibility. His stuff almost makes me laugh.

It's one thing for a journalist to be a "homer" and another thing to just being stupid

This quote of his really had me ROTFL....

Regarding the CFP rankings..... "I think Vanderbilt could beat a lot of those Big Ten teams that we’re sitting here whining about..."

Okay, they beat Bama.... but like the old cliche, even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while.
