Pacers!!!

Hella-Burton!!!!!

Carlisle was the mvp of game one though. We played a C+ game but he kept tinkering and adjusting with little adjustments and small suggestions and they just keep coming. Siakims rebound of the Nemhard air ball was the play that changed everything and epitomized the heart of the Pacers.

Pacers have used a style of play that is difficult to keep up with for an entire game. Pushing the ball, emphasis on shooting the 3 sounds like what CDD is looking to do.

I think what we can exploit on our team is Dorn, Miles, Sisley, Devries, and potentially Harris' size on the perimeter. The first 4 can shoot over the majority of the defenders they'll face and put it on the deck and use physicality to finish in the paint. When you play with pace offensively you have to be able to get back. For us to make any noise this year, Conerway needs to be able to replicate his game from last year, in the Big Ten. I'd like to see him tinker with a positionless rotation of Tucker, Wilkerson, Dorn, Miles and Sisley. Run something that resembled Denver's offense from two years ago with Tucker playing the Jokic role at the top of the key. 5 shooters with a lot of ball movement and back cuts.

Getting a split in OKC was great. It was never going to be easy and the Pacers will have down games. Now it's a five game series and we have home court. Pacers are +410 this is still an uphill battle, but who knows...

Are we all in agreement we just won't talk about last night?

No. We are most certainly not in agreement!

Question. Is Isiah Jackson still on the roster but just hurt. If Pacers win does he get a ring? If so I really don’t care who wins. Hawks fan even if they play a team with 15 UK slum.

James wiseman will get a ring, he was here for 2 minutes

Game 3 is obviously enormous. Both the outcome of the game, but also how competitive the Pacers are in the game.
I don't think they can win again in OKC. Winning out at home will be very tough. OKC is just the better team.

Must win for Pacers tonight? Must win for Thunder tonight? Neither?
More important for Pacers than OKC, I think. Not sure its a "must win" for either. I think its a "must show competitiveness" game for the Pacers though. They need to impose their will and play fast and free, and Hali needs to be better. If they lose a tight game, but do those things, I think getting game 4 is still pretty realistic.

Win the next and step on their necks! sPacers in 5!

All seriousness though, the less Myles effn Turner plays, the better their chances of winning are! He is soooo pathetically bad at the game of basketball!

Do you watch these games? He became the Pacers all time blocks leader in the playoffs tonight, passing Jermaine O'Neal. He had more blocks than the entire OKC squad. He stopped holmgren cold at the end of the game.

The Pacers are willing to pay the luxury tax in order to sign him to a new deal.

That’s all he does is block a couple shots! But his helpside D is soo bad! He doesn’t grab any rbs, he is lazy/flat footed, bricks wide open 3, gets blocked and out-rebounded by a guard,… Even when the ball falls to his feet, he doesn’t make an effort to go after it, as we saw last night! He only had 2 rbs, was a net(-), and when he was on the floor, the Pacers would lose their lead. He Sucks imho!

Turner caused a turnover after that block. It was a pivotal play.

You don't have to call Haliburton underrated, or a super star or even an all-star. But you will have to call him a champion.

I don’t think he’s overrated. I think he is a superstar and will certainly call him a champion if Pacers win series.

Pacers have been wearing teams down. I didn't think OKC would wear down and they didn't in Games 1 and 2 playing at home even if they let Game 1 get away. OKC looked gassed in the 4th Q last night. Maybe this series is wearing on them except for Jalen Williams.

OKC better get it done this or next year before they have start paying some of these young guys. I'm not saying Holmgren is not a good player but if anyone is being overrated as a future star it probably is him. Hartenstein is so overpaid. In 2026 both Jalen williams and Holmgren will up for RFA and they probably can be given extensions this summer. SGA will worth a Super Max contract in summer of 2027. They might have to choose one or the other between williams and Holmgren. I'd clearly pay Williams and keep him alongside SGA not Holmgren. If i were them and the Pacers pull this off, I'd be looking into Giannis pretty hard with Hartenstein and Holmgren going the other way. They would have to throw in another player to match salaries and they have a ton of picks to jump start the Buck on a rebuild.. If your gonna pay a lot of money, might as well maximize your chances at a title in next 2-3 years. No-one will do that more than Giannis and Bucks are close to desperate to reboot.

I'm guessing you haven't watched many games other than last night's where Carlyle said in the post game presser that he has been sick and they weren't sure if they would have him for tomorrow night's game.

On a per game basis this season:
2nd in 3pt makes and attempts.
3rd in 3pt %
3rd in FTA
4th in FTM
2nd in Reb
1st in Def Reb
1st in blocks
4th in scoring
3rd in minutes played

Perhaps you listen to too much Dakich.
