Over/Under on Smith's # of points tonite....

If he scores 10-12 points, I think we have a good shot at winning. Illinois plays a lot of full court, scramble defense which should make them vulnerable in transition. Justin should get some opportunities to score out of it. But he and the rest of the boys need to make their free-throws. It could be another very close game.

Smith's play last game seemed so out of character...a large deviation from the norm, qualifying as an aberration if you will. I say he scores 8 points but Morgan comes back alive and one other player, as yet unnamed, rises to the occasion (Green? Phinisee?) Romeo gets his usual 18 after another slow first half. Archie, of pursed lips, never cracks a smile. Don Fischer ends his radio broadcast with, "Keep safe, stay vigilant and God bess America".

I'll say under. He's playing against 2 athletic guys (6'6" & 6'7") who aren't particularly skilled as offensive threats, so I don't think Smith will be key, one way or the other...ie I think those guys will cancel each other out. This isn't a game where I'd like to see Smith shoot a lot.

Where we would seem to have an advantage is with Morgan & Langford. Langford--No real rim protector, and playing against 6'6", 6'7" guys. Morgan--more physical than Giorgi, who's also in a bit of a slump. Those two guys together should take half our shots. And Davis could be a bully in this game if he's feeling good.
