Our field in retrospect...

I have to say that I was impressed w/ how well the field at Memorial Stadium held up in the deluge that hit it yesterday. Not like the "good old days" when lakes would have appeared. Or better yet when it was real grass and a mudder would have been the case. A testament to how well our folks seem to be taking care of the more important aspects of a well maintained facility.

How did yesterday's weather compare to the bucket game in 2001? That was a slop fest.

It’s really good turf. Much better than the last one which was 10 years old and covered with thin blades and black pellets.
