We've been running a fantasy golf league for degenerates on the AOTF for quite a while. We have a few open spots in this week's contest for the PGA Championship. It's on Draftkings, so you'll need a DK account to join. It's normally $5 to play, but during the 4 majors it's $10. Contest lineups are due by 8 am EDT tomorrow morning.

Never played. What do you do, pick a "roster" and they have points or a budget assigned?

That's pretty much it.

You start with a $50,000 salary cap. Each golfer has been assigned a salary amount and you draft 6 golfers while staying under the cap. All sorts of different strategies involved, but the idea is to get everyone through to the weekend and try to get as many high finishers as possible.

In small pools like this, you can win even if everyone doesn't make the cut. I've cashed tickets with only 3 guys making the cut in this league. If you're playing the big contests where there are thousands of players, instead of our 20, you need to get all 6 to the weekend and have a smattering of top 5 to top 20 finishers in the lineup.
