Makes me think of the Semi State in 83. Craig Neal's Senior yr and Washington got beat by Princeton in Terre Haute.
Shrewberry’s son is a JR, Chase Konieczny is a SR whose brother plays at ND. They also have King and Roseman who are both really good. They have a pretty solid 7-8 players, are athletic, and can score. They pressed Marian the entire game.
Kind of cool that Chase beat his brother's all time scoring record. I believe it is also for the area and not just the school. One funny thing was that Marian had a player who was tied with his father in points. He missed two free throws to go ahead of his father. Later he had a put back to beat the ole man.
Yes was at that game, my Junior year in high school. Great game
I watched Mullins and GC lose in double OT to Mt. Vernon in the sectional championship. Great game. Mullins barely touched the ball for a long time in the second half.
MV did a great job of denying him the ball and baiting other GC players to try to beat them. MV coach out coached GC's coach. GC's coach didn't know how to get him the ball.

Brownstown beat SC by two. Hunter had a decent look at a 3 as time ran out. Hit front of the rim, went straight up in the air. I thought it was coming down thru the net but it went begging........That kid showed out last night. He carried SC in second half. SC is going to be a team to watch next year. Only lost one kid. A bunch of Jrs and Sophomores.
