They shot 17-33 from 3. Jacob Meyer whom some of you might know from his Covington, KY high school days led them with 23. Old friend CJ Gunn went for 22. They both shot 4-6 from 3 and Isaih Rivera shot 5-8 from there.
You simply won't lose if you shoot 52% on 33 3s. DePaul improves to 8-2. They're not awesome or anything but just as an educational exercise I would encourage everyone to check out one of their games. They play super hard. They move and pass the ball. The hit the deck. And they do it all game long.
The point of this post is this: Woodson and his AAU braintrust don't understand what Herb Brooks did in 1980 assembling the team USA hockey team: you don't need (to buy) the best players. You need (to buy) the right players.
If you're going to buy a basketball team buy the right team. Not just a collection of awards and stats. These are a very good players, but the more I see the more I question whether they fit together. Add the stupid systems on top of it...
