ASU was 0-2 going in against 0-4 Arizona. Arizona has now lost 12 games in a row and is dealing with player losses due to covid (like most others).
“Style points” are a stupid concept to begin with and the “sportsmanship” Edwards exhibits here is gross IMO.

Why is he calling long passes up 56-7??
I understand if your team scores late in the 3rd or 4th Q up 56-7 when you hand off up the middle with your 2nd and 3rd string - that’s on the opponent.
But long passes in that situation ?? With your first string QB still in the game making that pass?
At what point in the game does the coach instruct only to run the ball off tackle and play his 3rd string?
Herm Edwards is a jerk for rubbing it in, calling that play and for having his starting QB in at that point IMO.
