Western Kentucky is an excellent football team with a quarterback and a tight end who will play in the NFL, as will probably a couple of their linemen. If they were in the Big Ten, they would easily be in the middle of the pack, if not higher. You know people always talk about how many yards our D lets up, but the other teams' let up more than we did three times! The complaints about our D in the SIU game were intense, but SIU let us score 48 points!
So why is it always our D that takes the blame, but when our offense scores more than the other team (which is the object of football, after all), no one is pointing out how bad the opponent's D is? Anyway, we overcame adversity in three games, and I think we should go to 4-0, because I can't see Wake Forest stopping Jordan Howard. I also think it's better that we play Ohio State early in the conference schedule because things can only get easier after that, lol. We really shouldn't focus on the opposition, as Bob Knight used to say, but on ourselves and what we can do. And one last point, what IU football needs more than anything is confidence and to believe, and winning is the best way to get that.
