On my way to the IU vs MD game from Baltimore

My daughter & son in law are taking me for a Christmas present. My son in law is a MD graduate and my granddaughter is in a Doctoral program at MD.

I will be sitting in a MD section wearing my red IU pullover with my arm in a sling as a result of recent surgery.

AND I WILL BE CHEERING THE HOOSIERS TO VICTORY

Maryland is good, especially at home, but IU already played Goliath earlier in the season on their home court.

Come back with a first hand report on your game experience tomorrow. I’ll be looking for your sling thing on TV. It might help to flap your injured wing a few times at each timeout if you can bare the pain.

Fernando and Smith are explosive and Cowan is a terrific PG. It will take a lot from IU to win. Last year's game was an absolute battle to the end.
